NIST-traceable calibration allows you to confirm that the specific asset you purchase does in fact meet the manufacturer’s published specification. Receive your product calibrated and ready to use rather than sending it to a third-party or internal calibration lab and incurring additional delays. EPA, USDA, ISO and GLP/GMP standards require regular NIST-Traceable calibration of all test equipment being used in critical applications.
Calibrations on handheld multimeters with infrared functions are performed using high-accuracy multi-function calibrators and standard-grade reference multimeters per manufacturer’s recommended procedures. The infrared function of the meter is calibrated using radiometrically-calibrated blackbody sources. Electrical measurements can be taken up to 40,000 Volts, 1000 Amps, 10 Tera-Ohms, 110 Mega-Farads, and 1.1 Giga-Hertz and infrared temperatures can be taken between -15 and 500 deg C.
