Thermogravimeters measure the change in weight of a sample over time as it is heated, cooled, or held at constant temperature. This measurement provides valuable information of the sample such as phase transitions, adsorption, absorption, and thermal decomposition. Thermogravimeters are available with differential scanning calorimeters to analyze the thermal effects at the same time.

Easily view the terminal with the OneClick function plus the information on the status of the measurement even at a distance on the large display. Automatic buoyancy compensation eliminates the need to run a blank measurement allowing for faster accurate results. Use the built-in mass flow controllers to define the furnace atmosphere, which allows analysis of samples under a variety of atmospheres.

Thermogravimetric analyzer/differential scanning calorimeter with a large furnace handles temperatures up to 1100°C and includes a microgram balance with a range ≤5g and 1.0 µg resolution. Differential scanning calorimeter measures heat flow to simultaneously analyze thermal effects of the sample. SDTA sensor featuring a platinum support with a thermocouple measures sample temperature and can handle larger crucibles.
