50 series pocket meters include a replaceable double-junction electrode sensor that is designed for more aggressive applications, including wastewater and solutions containing sulfides, heavy metals, and TRIS. The electrode sensor offers a clog-resistant Kynar® junction and a recessed, glass pH bulb to protect against breakage and allow for easy maintenance and replacement. A Valox sensor housing resists most chemicals.

An easy-to-use four-button keypad allows for technician level use and measurement with quick access to a variety of functions. Up to 3 calibration points with auto-buffer recognition at both USA and NIST standard buffers. Additional features include an automatic temperature compensation (ATC), hold function, auto-off function, self-diagnostic error messages, and a three-segment battery-life indicator.
