Immersion Heaters

Immersion heaters are submerged directly into the solution being heated, so there's no loss of heat during energy transfer. Immersion heaters (sometimes called immersion water heaters or tank heaters) are most suitable for water-based, nonflammable solutions in metal, glass, or other high-temperature containers. We carry standard multipurpose immersion heaters that have heating elements made with 316 stainless steel and feature a built-in dial or thermostatic temperature controller. We also have a version with PTFE-coated heating elements which is perfect for use in hostile environments or with chemically aggressive solutions. Both types are available in many shape, size, and wattage variations. Remember, for the heaters that do not have built-in temperature controllers, you may need a separate variable-voltage or variable-time controller.
