JACO polypropylene tube inserts are designed to fit inside soft or flexible plastic tubing, reinforcing the tube wall at the connection point. The insert helps prevent tubing from collapsing under compression and supports a more consistent seal and grip.
These inserts are a practical choice for water-treatment, filtration, DI water, and mild chemical-feed tubing assemblies where soft or thin-wall tubing needs added internal support. Polypropylene is lightweight, rigid, and resistant to environmental stress cracking, with good chemical resistance for applications involving alkalis, salts, and most weak acids.
The inserts have a solid opaque, flat white appearance, a material temperature rating of -34 to 107°C (-30 to 225°F), and are NSF 14 certified, NSF 61 compliant, and autoclavable.
