Certified vials are tested to confirm that the vials, cap, and septa have been properly manufactured, handled, and packaged for quality results. Snap-top vials come with snap caps that provide a secure seal to minimize evaporation, even with volatile samples. An audible click ensures a secure seal has been formed.

Glass vials are made of Type I, Class A 33-expansion borosilicate glass. Fused-insert vials are ideal for handling small-volume samples while delivering low residual volume (<8 µL). Total-recovery vials deliver maximum sample capacity (1.2 mL) with minimal residual volume (<1 µL)—use with bottom or side draw-port needles.
