Use these high-quality PVC-free fittings in biomedical research, pharmaceutical, electronic, and other critical-use applications. Quickly and easily transition from soft tubing to a system that accepts a threaded connection using threaded barb adapters. Threads provide a tight and secure connection; a single barb on the other end of the fitting creates a tight seal to keep the tubing in place. An anti-rotation device on the hose barb prevents tubing from rotating, minimizing kinks. These high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fittings are softer than nylon, polypropylene, and Kynar®. They exhibit excellent resistance to chemicals but have lower thermal resistance than other materials.
