SPEX CertiPrep Claritas PPT® standards are a class of Inorganic Certified Reference Standards designed specifically for today's new generation of trace ICP and ICP-MS instrumentation.

Use to identify or confirm the maximum concentration of an analyte that does not cause a memory effect greater than the contract required detection limit (CRDL). The test solutions are not analyzed directly; equal volumes of the two are mixed and then introduced into the instrument for a normal sample exposure time. A blank is then run to confirm that all analyte memory effects are below the CRDL.

• Solution 1 is a 125 mL bottle which contains 1,000 µg/mL (1,000 ppm) of Aluminum, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium and 20 µg/mL (20 ppm) of Arsenic, Barium, Beryllium, Cadmium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Lead, Manganese, Nickel, Selenium, Silver, Thallium, Vanadium, Zinc in 5% HNO3. This is available individually as part number 04568-90.

• Solution 2 is a 125 mL bottle which contains 7,200 µg/mL (7,200 ppm) of Chloride; 2,000 µg/mL (2,000 ppm) of Carbon; 1,000 µg/mL (1,000 ppm) of Phosphorus, Sulfur; and 20 µg/mL (20 ppm) of Antimony, Molybdenum, Titanium in H2O/tr. HF. This is available individually as part number 04568-91.
