More About this Item

Obtain accurate results for routine spectrophotometric analysis with these high-quality instruments for cost-conscious labs. Economical single-beam spectrophotometers are perfect for quantitative analysis using a wide variety of quality control protocols.

These spectrophotometers suit a variety of general-purpose and quality control applications—ideal for biochemistry, environmental chemistry, food testing, and water testing labs. They combine value and simplicity with the accuracy of much more expensive instruments.

Auto-zeroing saves time between samples and reduces potential errors. The wavelength adjustment knob features end-of-range stops to maintain calibration and prevent damage. Built-in filters automatically switch to accommodate wavelength setting—eliminating manual adjustment and ensuring accuracy.

Model 83055-20 features a concentration mode and an RS-232 and USB interface. Use the interface to print or download data to your PC—order optional printer, software, and cables at right for integrated data collection.

What’s included: twelve 10-mm diameter test tubes cuvettes, cuvette adapter, dust cover, and 7-ft (2.1-m) cord with a US standard plug. For 230 VAC operation, order the optional 83055-25 power cable.
