These capsules contain two layers of polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, which is inherently hydrophilic, low in extractables, and offers excellent flow rates. The membrane also exhibits low protein binding characteristics making it ideal for use with biologically sensitive solutions. The device is supplied presterilized and has a vent to evacuate any air to allow fast filtration. The outlet of the capsule is protected to prevent touch contamination during setup and has standard hose barb connections.
