These cabinets have been designed to provide unprecedented assurance that you, your product, and your laboratory environment are protected. Typical applications include work with agents that require Biosafety Level 1, 2, or 3 containment and anti-neoplastic drug preparation. HEPA filter system removes 99.99% of 0.3-ìm particles. Advanced filter monitoring system and ergonomic design increase your safety.
True line-of-sight while seated, full-color LCD information center provides user-friendly programming and feedback, such as filter function and loading and system in use. Status line provides feedback on the system, including whether the system is “OK” or if the “sash is too high.” Continuous bar graph display provides information on the life of the HEPA filter and when it will need to be changed.
Electronically commutated motor (ECM) technology provides precisely controlled airflow with no need for additional airflow sensors. Motor is programmed after installation to deliver a consistent volume of air, even as the load on the HEPA filter changes, also providing longer filter life. ECM conserves energy by using up to 60% less than conventional motor systems. Quieter operation and less heat generation allow for more comfortable working conditions. ECM lasts approximately four times longer than conventional blower motors. Night-Smart™ system allows the unit to run at 30% normal speed when sash is completely closed to help maintain a clean environment when not in use; blower resumes normal operation when sash is raised.
Inclination Technology - features that reinforce what humans are inclined to do - is the package of comfort features and ergonomics built into each cabinet. Includes angled sash without glare, curved inlet grille for resting of forearms and unobtrusive lift knobs on the stainless steel work surface that allow it to be quickly lifted for cleaning.
