Each three-sample set contains 3 x 25 g of sterile beef powder matrix and three individually packaged lyophilized microorganism pellets. At least one of three of the sample pellets will be positive for STEC (O26, O45, O103, O111, O121, or O145). To use, transfer 25 g of sterile matrix to stomacher bag, add 225 mL of enrichment broth (not included), then add a single sample pellet to the stomacher bag. Process, analyze, then report present or absent for each sample in the set. Three different series available per study.
